OUR RESULTS

 

Internal reorganisation of the ISO 20121 committee to boost its effectiveness and employee involvement. This restructuring includes the introduction of new dashboards for monitoring and analysing performance indicators (KPIs), the enlargement of the committee and a reorganisation of the network of ambassadors into smaller but more committed teams. An internal audit will also soon be carried out by the ambassadors, based on the committee's guidelines, and communication will be stepped up, in particular through staff meetings and a dedicated newsletter.

 

New participation in the Bike to Work event, which is part of the company's ongoing commitment to employee health and sustainable development. The two teams of six participants travelled 2,439 km in four months and saved 351 kg of CO2, the equivalent of about 2,500 km travelled by a conventional car.

 

Information session on 24 September 2024 to raise employees' awareness of energy consumption, with an emphasis on how to optimise switching lights on and off.

 

 Visit to Serbeco, a Swiss company that is a pioneer in recycling, organised for the Sustainable Development Committee and ambassadors on 31 October 2024.

 

Raising employees' awareness of Palexpo's sustainable development initiatives via monthly internal newsletters.

 

PET bottles removed from staff vending machines and water fountains installed in the Le [.]  Central restaurant and at numerous conferences.

Development of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy unveiled on 12 April 2024.

 

Maintaining Palexpo's commitment to training , with 7 apprentices and trainees in 2024, i.e. 9% of the company's employees working in occupations that can be taught.

 

Commitment to professional equality with a gender balance among Palexpo executives: 40.3% of women working in the company are executives. In accordance with the revised law on equality (LEg), Palexpo has carried out a salary analysis controlled by an independent auditing body: for equal positions there is no difference in salary between women and men.
